Travel blog of my adventures in Hong Kong, studying abroad at HKUST, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, School of Business Management in Clear Water Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Out of sight!!! Good for you...this from the girl who I recall used to eat like a bun and some carrots at family get togethers!! So what did you think of all the weird food...and where did you eat it?? The pics remind me of Bizarre Foods on the travel channel...which we always watch. I'm soooo jealous...eat some Dim Sum for me! We love reading about all your adventures and hope that school is going well too. It truly sounds like a whole other world there! Have fun...stay safe!! xxxooo from us all ;)
ReplyDeleteabout half of that sounds disgusting.

ReplyDeleteSo what was your most favorite?
ReplyDeleteleast favorite?
Did they all taste like chicken?
Maggie used to love pig ears! But remember how they gave her gas!!haha
love, mom
I actually really liked the pork cartilage.. it looked like pork ribs.. but you eat everything.. including the bone. Really healthy for you too. The chicken feet were difficult to eat, as you had to put the whole thing in your mouth and then move it around and suck on it to get the bones and spit out each of the little phalanges segments. The cow stomach was fun to eat as well. :P (It, as well as the chicken feet, were part of the Dim Sum offered here on campus).
ReplyDeleteMMMMMMMMM....love that cow stomach. Hits the spot every time hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried any Maggie-style foods yet? In all seriousness, Seung Min tells me that dog from Asian markets is very good, and recommends that if I'm ever there I should try it.
ReplyDeleteBut I've never been a dog-owner, so maybe that's different. In any case, glad to hear about the diversified diet! I love eel...
you are too cute! LOL we'll get hotpot this week...as soon as i decide when! haha.
